WORK OF ART...FOR ART LOVERS ONLY?

I was so happy when Abdi won. My sisters and I were practically jumping up in down in our seats. I knew that he would because he was one of the most talented and REAL artists (when it came down to TRUE inspiration and desire) on the show.

Work of Art is a very exciting show to watch. Even if you aren't an artist, I think you'd enjoy it. When watching the show, not only do you get to see the finished products of artwork, you get to experience the artists' process of creating the art. I am an artist myself, and I must say that this show is very inspiring. It made me want to go and paint something! :D

SEASON 5

I love to watch HGTV's Design Star. There is always a good mix of designers from different backgrounds in design. I enjoy this show for the entertainment from the drama and talent. <3

My favorite designer this season is Alex Sanchez because he is a young and talented designer. He was also charismatic and comfortable when filming his host presentations. However, he did not make it to the finale. I would have really liked him to get his own design show.

Another good designer who was eliminated was Dan. He came across as a nice guy. When it came to hosting, however, his personality was a bit bland.

I predict that Courtland will win in the end. He is likable and very talented.

Nina Ferrer is a designer who was eliminated. She seemed to be somewhat of an amateur. I knew that she would not make it too far in the competition because she was a bit cocky and rude. She was too repetitive with her designs, and this caused her to fail.

Then there is Stacey Cohen. She seemed quite clueless in the competition. She was a bit of a complainer, and was often asking others for help with the challenges. (Maybe she thought she was so good and did not need the judges' advice for her to quit being repetitive with her work.)
